Infusionsoft is an all-in-one marketing software with a built-in CRM, sales automation, marketing automation and e-commerce capabilities. It is one of my favorite marketing automation tools. For some users, however, the pricing and learning curve might not be a good fit. For these users, the following tools can be good alternatives to Infusionsoft.

1 Ontraport

Best for: Small businesses and infopreneurs

Ontraport has most of the features in Infusionsoft - built-in CRM, in-depth automation and split testing. What it lacks is the same e-commerce capabilities as Infusionsoft. However, to make up for this lack, it offers built-in membership sites and even the ability to send automated postcards right from within Ontraport.

Ontraport also offers easy to understand pricing and lower initial commitment. If you want to access most features, you'll have to pay nearly the same price for both Infusionsoft and Ontraport ($279/m vs. $299/m). However, there is no mandatory onboarding fee with Ontraport. The add-ons such as extra subscribers/contacts are significantly cheaper as well.

2 HubSpot

Best for: Established small businesses

HubSpot's inbound marketing features are best in class. It also has good marketing automation features, though you'll likely miss some of the advanced segmentation and customization of Infusionsoft.

As an Infusionsoft alternative, what HubSpot has going for it is its complete funnel management capabilities. You don't just use it to attract leads; you can use it to attract, nurture and convert leads, all from the same platform.

This takes Infusionsoft's "all-in-one" approach to a whole another level.

What if you want just marketing automation features and don't want to pay a big price for it?

If that's the case, you'll find ActiveCampaign to be a great alternative to Infusionsoft.

ActiveCampaign doesn't have nearly as many features as Infusionsoft, but it also has a much smaller price tag - at least in the initial stages. The marketing automation suite works well enough, but you also get a CRM that's improving in quality and capabilities. Plus, there are some sales automation features that can replace some of Infusionsoft's tools.

How to Choose Your infusionsoft Alternative

Infusionsoft is one of the best marketing automation softwares on the market. As an all-in-one marketing tool, it can help you manage every part of the marketing funnel, from lead acquisition to conversion.

However, all these features don't come cheap. Plans start at $199/month and usually go up to $4,000+ per year.

In addition to the price, Infusionsoft's CRM lacks many of the features and capabilities standalone alternatives like Salesforce have. Some users might also find the software too complex to use.

Based on this criteria, I recommend the following Infusionsoft alternatives:

  • Ontraport, if you want the same features as Infusionsoft but at a lower price
  • HubSpot, if you want all-in-one marketing with a focus on inbound marketing
  • ActiveCampaign, if you want a cheap marketing automation tool
